The Dunkeld House Hotel is a lovely country house within walking distance of Dunkeld. Guests enjoyed the newly refurbished rooms and facilities, including the spa and grounds. The food was of high qu (Read More)ality and the pianist in the bar created a great atmosphere. However, one guest was disappointed by the high prices for a room with dogs and felt the online prices did not reflect the actual costs. Overall, most guests had a positive experience and would recommend the hotel.

Superb

We stay every year from 2nd Jan to 4th Jan. We love the location and hotel. Food excellent. Staff well trained and excellent. Especially impressed by David who looked after us both nights in the bar servings drinks and taking food order. We asked his name so that we could give good feedback and he said he was on a trial so we hope gets a permanent role. Hotel room rates very good. Food and drink expensive but overall worth it. Many thanks

Amazing surprise!

We were given a complimentary upgrade to one of the bigger suites and it was so beautiful! We were also given free fizz and little cakes with a happy birthday message on each. It was such a lovely surprise, after booking our wedding here and letting them know it was a late birthday trip. It was so lovely and an amazing night stay. Also lovely cocktails!

The drinks are a little expensive and its difficult to get to and from the village to visit other pubs as there is only 1 taxi car for the whole village. The hotel used to run a mini bus service and it was great, but that hasnt run for a while.

Relaxing night away in beautiful hotel.

Stunning location with great leisure and spa facilities. Food was excellent and drinks selection extensive.

Seemed to be a bit short staffed at breakfast which led to short wait for service.

Cosy, relaxed and indulgent, perfect treat before the busyness of Christmas.

Stunning location, the drive up to the hotel is so beautiful and sets the scene for a cosy stay. Roaring fires, comfortable lounge and friendly staff all contribute to a relaxed and pampered experience.

Can't think of anything, it was just perfect.

The restaurant experience really impacted the overall stay. I would not recommend staying and dining here.

The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Staff were friendly

The restaurant service and food was very poor. Waiting staff had to be prompted at every point, we waited ridiculous lengths of time between courses and even to order a drink. The food was very poor and basics like cutlery werent provided without asking.

Pleasant

Facilities shut (sauna, jacuzzi and pool). Treatment cancelled on the day of visit. So this was very disappointing. Also raining so as facilities were closed there was not much to do sadly.
