Location

Ignoring the fact it was under construction, there was no micro wave or coffee in the room, phone was not connected, some outlets didnt function. At time of booking the construction was not noted and the affect like no fitness center, loud noises, torn up landscaping, etc not communicated.

Not too much right now.

There was no mention of the property being renovated. We paid similar rates to surrounding hotels. Multiple elevators were out of service and we were on the 9th floor. 10 minute waits for the elevator.

The location was 5 minutes away from our destination. Room was newly renovated and clean.

Wasn't told that renovations stated at 8:30 am until AFTER check in was complete. It would have been nice if this was mentioned on website or by Booking.com.

Would try again after renovations are finished.

Pool and hot tub wear great. Staff were very nice and helpful.

There was no hot water for half of the showers we took during the trip it was hit or miss if you would have hot water. There was also a loud squeaking noise from the pipes nonstop.

They didnt advise they had building works onsite during my stay. Restaurant was closed, lots of building noise, air conditioning was very noisy and the whole place was quite run down

The hotel is under a complete renovation which we were not aware of before arriving. Very loud construction going on. We had to move rooms which was very unfortunate considering I already decorated the whole rooms for my boyfriends birthday. I totally understand you cant shut down a whole hotel for construction but I feel that we should have been warned during the booking process or we should have been reached out to for a heads up. The hotel refused to compensate us in any way.

It was great for most part but will not be staying here again.

I like the location of the hotel it was around the main attraction and right down the street from universal studios.

They had construction going on when we arrived so the morning times was pretty loud we also had to pay for parking in a parking lot they owned and it was 23 or 24 dollars a day we was there for 4 nights and they also didn't tell us that we had to pay a 50 dollar a night deposit during the stay so money was coming out each day we stayed. I stayed here when it was the crown plaza and I didn't come across no problem when we stayed there it went wonderful each stay.
