The Crowne Plaza Hotel and Suites Pittsburgh South is praised for its excellent location next to a mall and restaurants. The staff, especially Mallory at the front desk, were helpful and accommodatin (Read More)g. The breakfast was great and there is a convenient shop for forgotten items. However, during a busy period, there was only one working elevator, but it was resolved by discouraging young players from using it. The rooms were clean, spacious, and good value for money. Nearby, there are plenty of dining and shopping options within walking distance.

Fix the mattress problem and we would return but eat our breakfasts somewhere else.

The price per night was good. The staff were welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. The cleaning staff were excellent.

The breakfast was expensive and not enough food was prepared or available. We went to First Watch for our breakfast the last three days, which was excellent and cheaper. The beds were terrible; they were too soft and quite frankly the mattresses were worn out. The mattresses were so bad I would not want to go back to this hotel. If the mattresses were firm and not worn out, I would return.

thermostat and heater/air conditioner unit was interior. Would not hold a temp setting. Very loud also. Pillows were bad.

Disappointing

Never again..

Great location since it served my purpose.

Since I booked 1 night, the room was only for 20 hours. Requested for an early check in, but got it later than normal. Vending machine outside the room was noisy causing disturbance and a flood light just above the window seeping in to the room at night. Not stuff one would expect for $200 per night room. Lastly, $50 deposit was never refunded.
