Exactly the luxurious night away to recharge from holiday family madness that we needed.

Everything about the room and facilities was wonderful. I specifically booked a room with a spa bathtub, which was gorgeous and very relaxing.

The night concierge staff was not very polite. It is a non-smoking hotel, therefore they behave as if all their guests should be non-smokers as well. I have no problem going quickly outside to an area away from the hotel, but to have an instant attitude change and be condescending because a guest asks for a lighter or matches is too much. There is an entire list of goods the hotel is willing to provide if requested, Id be very shocked if nobody has ever asked for a book of matches or something before. Its customer service basics, at least say no with a fake smile - but the two employees at the desk made me feel ashamed and uncomfortable, as if I had already done something wrong.

This is the place to stay to see historic Pittsburgh

Fun decor. comfortable bed, nice towels. Cookies for Christmas was a nice touch. Commoners restaurant pick-up was very good and prompt. cheap parking across the street. Bathroom very, very clean. Managers cocktail hour very nice.

All good, no complaints.

Great location, amazing restaurant, beautifully decorated hotel

The location was great, close to everything, never had to walk more than 8 minutes to get to where I wanted to go. My absolute favorite restaurant though was the Commoner. The salmon and commoner burger were unbelievably delicious!

I had a dog with me, finding a place to walk my dog was a little challenging, it would have been nice to have a dedicated walking place on location. They suggested going down a couple blocks to the double tree, which I guess was okay, but it did feel a bit far every time I had to take my dog for a walk.

Beautiful weekend getaway!

Loved the aesthetic. The room decor was great, the pillows were amazing, the shower was really neat. Loved the staff! Everyone was so energetic and friendly.

The location was ok. But with all the construction and the side road, we had to go past the hotel twice just to get valet access because the front of the hotel was so congested. The rooftop bar was neat but realllly small. Would have loved more room.
