There was a party below us on the second night, and we had a 2 year old and 6 year old, and we had a 5 hour drive back in the morning, with not a lot of sleep

Lovely hotel, modern comfortable rooms , clean everywhere and polite freindly staff, will definately be visiting again

Loved the hotel and facilities the staff were friendly even though it being New Years Eve they were working very hard

Great stay - perfect accommodation for the trip!

Location was perfect for our trip. Staff were excellent and so were the facilities. As a family of 6, it was perfect to have us all in one room, with plenty of room to spare.

Disappointed on Nye

The room was nice but my son who booked on same day paid 20 less for exactly the same room as ours.

Keller bar ... Such a let down... Not enough bar staff ... So hard to get served and the band didn't start playing until late and then they took so many breaks... None of the songs were as advertised... A real let down for NYE.

Slightly overpriced and tired, but a nice breakfast and plenty of power points.

I have family who live round the corner and have driven past this hotel many times for the last thirty years and the external Swiss ski lodge feel does carry through to the inside. The breakfast had the usual options of a cooked breakfast, cereal, pastries, fruits and fruit juice. It was all set out very nicely, hot food and drink was hot and the cold food and drink was cold. We were met by a team member who had a face like thunder, who walked off while we were still talking to her having insisted on 'showing us to a table' despite there only being one other table in use. The same team member was then overheard slagging off another team member as she paced around the restaurant, which did kind of spoil the mood! There are several plugs, with usb points, in the bedroom which I was pleasantly surprised by given the tiredness/old-fashioned feel of the hotel in general.

The hotel is showing its age, there were a lot of things that didn't work/had been taken out of operation for cleaning/maintenance, for example the spa bath in our room, the jacuzzi and sauna in the pool/gym area. The pool/gym/changing area is a little bit grim, not very clean and quite dark and dingey. The bathroom was clean, but again very tired looking. We were also on the side of the hotel facing the petrol station, so every so often there'd be a loud rumble of a car/bike engine which made for quite a disturbed night's sleep. We paid 186 for one night in a family room and the kids were on travel beds which weren't overly comfortable but our king-sized bed was lovely.
