The Club Wyndham Oceanside Pier Resort is a favorite vacation spot with a relaxing atmosphere and heated pool. The hotel offers ocean views and is in a great location with nearby activities and resta (Read More)urants. However, there may be pressure to attend a time share presentation and some rooms facing the road can be noisy. The staff is friendly and accommodating, but there have been some issues with salespeople and changes to ownership. Overall, it is a great place to stay with convenient amenities and walking distance to everything.

Due to the aggressive timeshare solicitations, we will never return to this property.

The location and views of the ocean are truly great.

Multiple solicitations to join a timeshare presentation. After declining, they pressed even more aggressively, up to and including calling our room at night to solicit AGAIN on the phone.

Very nice hotel. Perfect location. Quiet condo. Perfectly appointed. Felt very safe here.

Great location, beach and town time share interrogation not so good

Good location. Great view. Close to beach and downtown". nice accommodations. Clean

Check in process hand off to to time share people. I paid via credit card, not time share. Couldn't get keys until I went through "time share interrogation". Later i came back fir an area map and had to go again. Came to vacation. Not to do business. Hot tub and spa were cold. Kids in hot tub were pushing the emergency shut off. Not very relaxing.

Beach side stay

Too much sales pitch to buy timeshare vacation. They forced me to attend the seminar and then tried their best to sell their product. Gave a restaurant GC worth $125 for getting brain washed for >2 hours.

Very good

Had fun exploring the city of oceanside. Took the coaster to Encinitas for breakfast.

Location across from the beach. Many restaurants and shops within walking distance.

Sofa bed, not comfortable. Time to change it out to customer friendly comfort.

Disappointing. For same rate, recently stayed at the Millennium Biltmore - LA, amazing!!!

It was I a well kept property. The staff was great - friendly and helpful.

Amenities were lacking. Not really food/restaurant accommodations - for breakfast specifically. No bar. Had to walk to other hotels for drinks after the adjacent restaurant closed. There was no option to upgrade to a beach front room (at any cost). And, the city (side) view was noisy with trains, street activities...which apparently they are already aware of since they provided ear plugs.

A 2 hour sales pitch almost ruined my experience at this property.

Clean and pleasant. Check in, parking, and room entry were excellent. Plenty of amenities and room for my whole family. Was very satisfied with the facilities overall. A bit expensive, but the location reflects the price.

We were lied to. Big time. Unfortunately, even though Brittany at concierge was very nice, she legitimately lied to us. She told us we could go on a kid friendly tour of the facilities so that we could spread the word since apparently Wyndham doesnt do marketing. In turn, we would receive a free stay at one of their resorts. I shouldnt have fallen for it. The next morning, and 2 hours later, my wife and I and my two extremely bored young kids found ourselves having to bluntly walk out of a high pressure sales pitch after being very clear multiple times, to at least 3 different people, that we werent purchasing any timeshare or vacation ownership. This is the fastest way to lose me and my family/friends as customers. Im grateful for the lesson I learned, but cant help but feel for the victims of this sales model.
