The layout is a little confusing. Maybe provide maps at check-in.

Very good

Lovely stay, close to the beach.

Comfortable room and friendly staff. Nice pool and close to the beach.

Hotel set on several levels which meant the view from our balcony was good but it was quite a trek to get back and forth from the room.

Superb

Would definitely recommend Chanalai for anyone visiting Phuket with a family.

We loved the location of the hotel and the hospitality of the staff. The view from the room was awesome.

Pools are excellent and so is the location and proximity of the beach.

The hotel does not have its section of chairs on the beach so dragging towels and bargaining for seats becomes a hassle especially if you go down alone without your partner.

Breakfast was nice with both oriental and continental options. Restaurant staff was all around us to make any request of us happen immediately. The location of the hotel is nice but not the best though. You have to cross a busy road to get to the beach. The area was generally nice, especially for families, compared to other "wild" parts of Phuket.

It's located on a hill so there are lots of stairs to walk. Although there are lifts around but it's not always practical to take one. The air conditioning unit in and outside of our room was extremely noisy. By EuropeN hotel standards, the hotel is a bit outdated and need some replenishing. But in general it was reasonable value for money.

Nice stay

Room with a good view. Lovely to sit in the balcony and watch the sea, the Big Buddha at a distance and the greenery around. Easy walk to the beach, a slightly longish walk to the Night market and good massage spas. The pictures on the site are a bit misleading though, it looks like the resort has access to a private beach. Not true.

Wonderful resort at the junction of best beaches in this area: Kata and Kata noi

location was marvelous! very close to the beach, while still on the hill, the breeze brings a couple of degrees down and it is very calm and quiet, which is great so you have a safe haven to return to. they have happy hours and special events, although they are overpriced so not many people show up, which is a shame, because they always set everything up very nicely all staff - from first person at the reception to last person you meet in the hallways - very friendly, smiling, kind, helpful also - there is plenty of elevators at the property for all of those that are so outraged about the stairs - it is NOT TRUE that you have to walk an awful lot :) if you manage a travel to thailand, you can manage a short flight of stairs from one elevator to the other
