The staircase is narrow and stiff. Going to the top floor with a 20 kg suitcase is a performance !

Nice staff, comfortable bed, valuable additional breakfast.

Windows in our room are old and technically allow bad sounds from outside to disturb you (e.g. talking people or what worse tourists with their wheel-suitcases in early morning:/) Something similar is valid for bathroom waterpipes behind walls of the room.

Superb

There was good communication before we arrived and the little hotel/guest house was easy to find. It was warm, comfortable and very clean. We didnt have breakfast as there are lots of great cafes nearby. In fact for us the location was perfect as all the main areas are a short scenic walk away and the area the hotel iscin is interesting in its own right. Pleased we visited in the winter as there were relatively few people around znd the bright sunny days made good the visit superb.

Romantic quiet location

The location is through a small dead-end off the main street. The room was spacious and had a flat-screen TV, 2 chairs, and a table. The bed is big with 2 adjacent mattresses. The bed was very comfy. Pillows are rectangular in shape and hard - we liked them. In case the room is cold you can turn on the heater or use a second blanket. The bathroom was medium-large, with a bidet even. The hot water ran sometimes very hot so pay attention to not burn yourself. We were located on the 2nd floor next to the reception, but we were not bothered by guests coming over. Our room was very quiet at night, but the windows do face a public balcony, so perhaps in summer people (guests of the locanda) would frequent that place. The place seemed safe and nothing went missing from our room. They do ask if you want to tidy the room as they need express permission. When checking out we left our baggage outside, near the reception so we could do a last set of shopping. Breakfast can be served on the premises but you need to announce the day before at least. The fridge is shared and kinda small. It's located on the 2nd floor. We didn't need the fridge.

Great hotel, would definitely stay again!

The rooms were decorated wonderfully! I compeltely fell in love with the interior. They also had very comfortable beds and it was nice and warm in the room.

Nothing to complain about really, it was a wonderful little hotel.

A gem in Venice

This was an incredible stay in Venice. The location was excellent, close to the train/ bus stations and within walking distance from all the main spots. The room was clean, beautifully designed, comfortable and warm. I particularly liked the early check-in hour and the fact that we were able to leave our luggage after check-out. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back here next time well be in Venice.

A great hotel, cannot fault it in any way

Absolutely everything, we had 3 rooms and everything perfect, spotless, friendly staff. The property is grand, inviting but also has a homely feel. Large rooms beautifully appointed, wed all gladly stay here again.
