The Caramel Grecotel Boutique Resort received rave reviews for its excellent service, fabulous food, and well-maintained grounds. The staff were highly professional and friendly, making guests feel s (Read More)pecial and going above and beyond to accommodate their needs. The only drawback mentioned was the rocky beach, but this was easily resolved with special shoes. Overall, guests had a fantastic experience and considered this one of the best hotels they have stayed at.

Fantastic Stay, great food experience including buffet in the morning, amazing personal, extremely friendly and helpful

however there we more kids than expected. On booking and instagram the hotel seems to be rather for adults and we were quite surprised about the kids club right next to the main pool. Unfortunately we could not spend any time at the pool because we found the noises and ball games not to be relaxing atmosphere for us personally.

PERFECT LUXURY SMALL HOTEL

A wonderful place, we spent a week there as a family and the hotel met all our expectations. wonderful staff, very nice and polite, amazing breakfast, everything at a very high standard. very clean, rooms cleaned every day, beautiful small intimate hotel. perfect for a quiet holiday with children and others, 100% recommend and thank you for a wonderful time!

The staff, reception, and pool. The front desk manager, the bar manager and staff and the breakfast team were truly five star people with lovely personalities and very kind. I cannot fault any of the staff.

The property is far too outdated and poorly fitted out for the prices they are charging and to be at a five star standard in 2023. Our room was almost hollow with a very pungent pesticide smell. Only thing that felt updated was the toilets but the bedroom itself was inferior to any property charging such rates.

Incredible staff, lovely location.

Excellent staff, nice touches and details to make you feel welcome. Beach was really nice. Great food at the main restaurant.

It seems great for families but it does mean there are a lot of children there, which might not be everyone's thing. The buffet was also not amazing for the price.

very friendly staff, beautiful hotel, very good food quality either breakfast or dinner quiet hotel perfect for relaxation-even though i dont use often hotel swimming pools this one is very beautiful

beachbeds and service were nice- the entry to the sea can be a little problem as there are small stones and rocks as it happens often in north Crete- also the buffet was extensive however i would expect to see more traditional cretan products

Perfect and exclusive chill out place in a friendly environment

Luxurious truly 5 stars hotel, with smaller size enabling personalized service and no overcrowding of common places. Very friendly staff, excellent a la carte or buffet restaurants with ingredients sourced from own nearby farm, room and common places spotless, fantastic pool, great activities for adults (aquagym, yoga, stretch etc.) and great kids club up to 12 years. Good location enabling to hop in 15 minutes by car to Rethymno and its old city and buzz. Music shows in the evening and stopping at 10pm to preserve sleep quality. Private beach albeit a bit stony. Staff speaks fluently English and German.
