Guests at Broadview Lodge were greeted warmly by the hosts, Jean and Diesel. They enjoyed a lovely, spotlessly clean room with a comfortable bed and sea view. The breakfast was great and Jean was pra (Read More)ised for going the extra mile for her guests. The guests wished they could have stayed longer and are hoping to return soon.

Very poor

Very disappointing, never again.

Location and thats it.

We had stayed here before in lovely rooms on the top floor with a dedicated elevator. This hotel part of the building seemed separate from the student accommodation in the rest of the building. However this visit we were put on the second floor in what was clearly very basic student accommodation. We couldn't even make tea or coffee in our room. There was a shared kitchen but it was filthy and the fridge contained stale smelly food, absolutely disgusting and unhygienic. How they have the audacity to charge 95 per room per night for this awful experience is baffling. Broadview lodge was our preferred accommodation for our regular visits to Norwich but never again, there are many far better options and cheaper. We complained at the time but we have had no satisfactory feedback or apology so sadly we must leave this review to warn other potential guests.

Ripoff for basic facilities.

The location for a concert in the evening.

The room was massively overpriced, originally booked a double for 98 but prior to arriving was emailed saying room on another floor and was now a single! Felt like Id been robbed when I got into the room! Definitely wont be using it again ever!

Superb

Comfortable and friendly people

It was a 1 minute walk from our event venue which was ideal. Great shared facilities as well as room with on suite. Staff were lovely, helpful and friendly.

We didnt know when booking that it was on a uni campus as this wasnt made clear in description. We probably wouldnt have stayed on a campus if we had known.

Great location for where we wanted. Comfortable rooms. Receptionist was very friendly amd helpful such a lovely welcome

We had to move rooms and amend the booking so didn't get the original double room with tea facilities. But communication was great and the rooms that were given were lovely.

It was very close to the venue we were watching a band that night, and it was clean and tidy and the receptionist was lovely.

We were told our room together wouldnt be available now and we would have to have 2 single rooms, and they weren't even near each other, and then we were told that they would be having a fire drill at 8am the next morning. Not what you want when you want to spend time together having seperate rooms, and also having been out to an amazing gig the night before we would have love a bit of a restful sleep in after a late night out.
