Lovely and homely

The hosts were so welcoming, home made brownies were waiting for us on arrival, very good communication and cooked a lovely personalised breakfast in the mornings.

No bath in our room.

A very comfortable and enjoyable stay

The breakfasts were outstandingly good with an unusually extensive menu both for continental style and cooked breakfasts. The range of locally produced jams and marmalade to enjoy on toast was amazing. I can honestly say we have never had better breakfasts in a B&B. Allocating a 15 minute intervals for breakfast times was an excellent idea as it meant there was no waiting while other people were being served. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well provided with toiletries. Parking was free.

Some people might find the stairs rather steep, especially to the second floor. Although free parking was arranged for us in the Resident Permit area, and it was generally not difficult to find a space, parking on both sides of the streets meant it was sometimes necessary to park partially on the pavement to allow wider vehicles to pass.

Fantastic breakfast and lovely hosts!

Excellent breakfast! Freshly made and everything according to my taste! The hosts really did go above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. I can't remember ever staying with such nice hosts.
