Lovely visit, would return

Great location, helpful reception staff gave us ideas of where to visit and how to get there, very comfy bed, lovely shower and toiletries

No main light in bedroom which is fine but lamp near desk/mirror didnt work, TV complicated to work just as a TV so we didnt bother!

Disappointing return visit.

Large room and comfy bed.

Very slow and unhelpful access to TV. Breakfast very disappointing. Having stayed here in April we experienced a much poorer breakfast this time. Admittedly the hotel was much busier but there were hot food items not available and the replacement was very slow.

Beautiful hotel with lovely historic features and nice nods to the history of the hotel. Very ice sized and well-appointed rooms, lovely breakfast and very helpful staff.

Superb

The location was fantastic and as it was my sons birthday the staff left a card and colouring books and he also received a little teddy, even the member of staff on check in wished him a happy birthday! The room was so quiet and the breakfast was great also.

I do not think we will be staying with you again

location was great and room had everything we needed and the rest of your hotel was very clean

the house keeping in our room was Bad. Only one day in our 5 night stay did we have things topped up. eg - coffee tea milk and than we had to ask. One day we had NO house keeping at tall eg - no beds made no one came. Also when we did have house keeping it was always never late in the afternoon, often after we returned from going out. We came to the conclusion that you were put to the back of the line if you stayed for more than one or two nights.
