Nice hotel but outrageous way to treat customer deposits.

The hotel took a 100 deposit which has appeared on my credit card statement. They've just told me it will take 10-14 days for this to be refunded and it was 'out of their control'. I consider this totally unacceptable.

Its an ok hotel Overpriced for what it is

Good room lay out

We had a 3 hour power outage that spoiled our planned day Still dont know if they will give us a refund that reflects the disruption caused

Not cheap, problem with room resolved, final invoice included car parking when we didn't have a car

Had issues with original room, maintenance sent straight away, could not resolve it and switched us to another room.

No toilet brush, had to put our hands into toilet to clean it. Hardly hygienic, and not nice for cleaning staff if other customers not scrupulous as us. We were automatically billed 18 per day we stayed for car parking even though we did not not have a car at the hotel.

Bad

The room was large and the bed was comfortable

They asked me for 100 pounds upon arrival as insurance, and when I came to check out, they asked me for 50 pounds, very terrible and bad. I was not late in leaving. I left the hotel at 10 a.m., a visit that will not be repeated because they are exploitative.
