The staff was very friendly.

Bed was very uncomfortable. What is with hotels that have small lumpy chicklet pillows?! So many moderately priced motels/hotels are just getting sad, outdated, and not worth the money.

Very enjoyable time with family, pity about the gouging at the golf course

we have been going to blue rock for six or seven years now. Staff have always been helpful and friendly.

as I mentioned earlier, we have been going to blue rock for six or seven years. But Ive noticed in recent years is the facility is aging. The very limited breakfast is disappointing, the fact that they try to charge for parking is very disappointing. And the expenses at the golf course are ridiculous, and some of the staff are ridiculously rude and uptight. The reason we go there is partly to play golf. My son is no 14. Ive been teaching him since he was eight years old. this year I had family from Ireland with me as well, it was embarrassing, because we wanted to golf there every day, but we were gouged at the pro desk. Every day, being charged seven dollars for a pole cart, and being forced to hire clubs for one of my guests, even though we were walking, and all he was doing was putting. Its been tough to muster up finances for a vacation every year, but this feeling of being gouged will stop us most likely from coming back to blue rock ever again.

Beautiful place, but parking fees are ridiculous!

I love how well kept the property is. When I first checked in, the gentleman that I spoke with was very nice and accommodating.

The parking fees. These should be eliminated for guests. You should be able to have up to 2 cars for no extra charge. Its a little excessive to pay both a resort fee and a parking fee. Its the one thing that may keep us from rebooking, and weve been there 2 years in a row now. I also wish there was a hot tub at this location. The other thing that I was a little bothered by was the staff member during breakfast. She came across as she was irritated each morning, and that it was a pain to do her job. I think it may be better to have a juice/milk/coffee station there where people can do it themselves. Also, more cereal choices and possibly a waffle maker would be great additions to this place.

Loved it

The staff were all excellent! I think they all go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast could be improved. We took advantage of the beach and pools at Red Jacket. World class! Will stay again
