Great for short stay

Hotel is located on Victoria Quays , easy access to town centre. We had quadruple room with 2 double beds , room was very clean & well equipped .

On arrival we have expected that all facilities inside leisure club will be working but only the swiming pool was available , neither hot tub or sauna were operational which was a blow as we have traveled considerable distance to use all facilities . The beds arent too comfy to sleep and matteraces are way too soft. Other than than the hotel is well located , rooms are clean staff very friendly

Tolerable but would not return

The staff were very welcoming and were very available at all times to support our needs and wishes. The area of the hotel is perfect for all types of travel. The lounge area of the hotel was absolutely beautiful.

The room we stayed in wasnt up to its full potential. Couple of housekeeping issues (dirty/stained duvet/ bedsheets). The lamps didnt work correctly. The sink had a very quick DIY repair, the shower leaked.

Exceptional

The hotel was clean, the room sizes were big and the leisure facilities were great, the kids loved the pool and we liked the steam room. The bar area is nice where we relaxed after a long day on the couches playing cards.

Poor

Boring, not good value for money

- Property has varied amenities. - Room has minimum you would expect of a hotel (bed, tele, wardrobe, bathroom, hand wash and coffee with kettle) - black out curtains work well

- Beds are uncomfortable, - Grouting around bathroom and spa facilities are going mouldy. - Staff arent particularly welcoming or nice. - Sauna not on, jacuzzi not on, pool cold, steam room small and not steamy. - Everything is quite outdated. - nothing particularly luxurious about this stay so not sure how this is a Best Western Plus

Pleasant

I would stay there again as there was plenty of room for our dogs and the staff were nice.

The view, the balcony, the size of the room.

The heating wasn't on in our room on arrival so it was really cold. Many of the lights weren't plugged in so it was gloomy. It felt like they weren't really ready for us.

On but hotel rooms and bathrooms looking tired

Location good , Bar good Good they gave you a bag on Christmas Day with chocolates and clean towels as no cleaners I to clean ,

Rooms and bathrooms are tired . Toilet made an awful noise when flushed enough to wake up if your partner went to the loo . No drinking water in rooms Room was cold had a wall heater but it was old and smelt when it was put on and was right next to the bed head so couldnt put it on and sleep with it as would have been unbearable . Seem to be a lack of staff . Only saw 2 the whole time was the there . Reception not always manned .

Good location and clean rooms!

The fact that the hotel is pet friendly wasnt made very clear and so I was shocked to hear barking dogs at all hours that had clearly been left on their own for long periods of time.
