Guests praised the cleanliness of their rooms, with no issues of mould and good amenities like hot water and pressure in the shower. The restaurant was excellent, although meals came out quickly. The (Read More) spa was relaxing and well-maintained. However, some guests had issues with noise disturbance and limited mobility due to stairs. Overall, the hotel provided great value for money with beautiful views and delicious food.

Dont waste your money

Dont even try, i had to pay 140 per night i stayed 3 nights just so i can see a lake view, i had to pay extra for the spa 20 for 2 hours per person which i never had to at any hotel and spa i booked before and pay extra breakfast, when i booked it said breakfast included but no when you go there they give you a menu with prices to choose you English breakfast what was free was just the toast and some salamis which i never had to pay anywhere before if is says breakfast included is included , room old and dated with old smell no fridge no water provided 140 should include those with a tiny old tv , toilet didnt even have a toilet brush but the toilet was newly refurbished tbh , we went for dinner to try it there wasnt a menu to chose from if you only want to go for a main but you were obliged to pay 45 per person set menu nothing was tasty , i told the reception the i wasnt happy with conditions and what they said was it was written when you book it , just a rip off they just wanted to get money of you wherever they can no happy with holiday and not happy that i had to spend 5min of my life writting this review , obviously is not up to the staff but the owner should change his condition because im not going back again and im 100% sure there is many others on same position as i am

Very good

Over all we had a pleasant stay.

View from room , breakfast was a bit disappointing when we found out that a full English was extra. The continental was ok though.

I assumed we were getting a bigger room for the price we paid. Weve been before and had one of the bigger rooms with a larger bathroom.

We will be back :)

Big room with comfy 4 poster bed and excellent view from big sliding windows with a little private outside terrace. The spa was chilled and relaxing whether you were inside or outside + Bath robes and clean towels provided. A* we will be back.

Enjoyed our stay here and would come again to experience the spa and views from upgraded rooms.

Comfortable, clean and lovely view from restaurant/ bar. Friendly staff.

Cocktail was a little disappointing for the amount paid. I would upgrade room next time for a better view of the lake.

The hotel decorated our room for my partners birthday which was a lovely touch! There was a spa in the hotel and overall it was a nice place to stay. Our room was right next to the lake which was beautiful if the whether had held out for it.

It was too expensive. We paid around 25 for 2 spirits and a mixer, single or double, thats a lot. The treatments at the spa were fully booked. We paid 20 for the spa itself which was good value for money but there were too many people in order fit comfortably in the saunas or steam rooms. There were no lifts available from the bottom set of rooms to the main lobby, definitely not wheelchair friendly, Im asthmatic so had to stop after each of the 3 stair cases. You cannot walk into town from the hotel so either you have to drive or wait a while for a taxi, so book taxis in advance!

Adequate for a new year get away.

Location is right on the lake with some wonderful views.

The property is very dated. The prices were expensive at the bar and it felt like we were being ripped off.

The hotel was excellent, however I was disappointed to learn the spa was an extra 20 per person and not included in the price, this wasnt clear when I booked the hotel / spa
