Very nice location and surroundings but very uncomfortable bathroom.

Location and surroundings were very good. It was by the waterfront and hence great. It had a sit out which was nice. There were bar-be que facilities on the premises, which was great too. The room had cooking facilities, microwave etc. which added to the convenience.

The bathroom was too old fashioned and inconvenient. Though there was hot water all the time. The wash basin was too small to even brush the teeth comfortably. It was like a bathroom in a ship. The bathroom really needs upgradation to make it decent for use and comfort.

Quaint and comfortable cottage - it's all the little things that made it so awesome!

They told us exactly where to find them. The lights were left on for us too which was very much appreicated. Parking space was right in front of cottage. Beds and linens were fabulous! Outdoor area and firepit were so quaint and welcoming. It was all the little touches that made this place so fabulous! Definitely will be back!

Can't think of anything at the moment. The bathroom was somewhat small so not suitable for a larger person. It was fine for us.

Great fun glamping

It's like glamping. Very comfortable and fun! It's not a fancy place, but everything you need is there and we really enjoyed our stay. However, if you don't like cooking, you're better off staying in a hotel. They have a variety of amenities, guidebooks, ice, etc. in our office, and the owner is very friendly and very helpful.

We had a great time at the Bar Harbor cottages during our stay on the island for the MDI marathon weekend 2023!

We loved our stay at the Bar Harbor cottages - this was a perfect spot for 2 nights. Great location that is close to town. The cottage was cozy and comfortable, and we loved the screen porch and the fire pit. :)
