Overall a good experience

Location was close to everything

Bed was uncomfortable. Bathroom sink sprayed and drained slow. Fan hasnt been cleaned forever. Pizza cheese all over bottom of oven.

Exceptional

wonderful stay in bar harbor with a couple of great restaurants within a short walk. very close to Acadia

it was well appointed and kitted out thoughtfully . nice paintings and kitchen appliances. the owner was friendly and suggested some excursions which were wonderful and made good use of our time

Very good

Very nice property, but we could not get the heat to operate our first night. Had to call VACASA. Someone was scheduled to come out the next day, which was not acceptable. Relatives who were camping nearby, had to come to see if they could help start the heat. They were able to start the heat, accidentally, but lost their campsite, and stayed with us. A VACASA rep cam the next morning around ten to help us. He was able to instruct us on how to operate the heat, but did tell us that he only just got the service call that morning from VACASA. Unacceptable, our cottage felt like an ice cottage when we arrived. Thankfully our family was able to help, but our first night there was extremely uncomfortable, and I would like some compensation for us.
