Would absolutely do it again!

The hotel room was infinitely comfortable - the bathroom super clean and everything I needed was in the room, including a steamer for clothes! (we were travelling from London to Austin via NY for a wedding, so you can imagine the state of my outfit for the wedding, having been in a suitcase for days in NYC!). I would highly recommend Austin Proper Hotel Austin to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay in the city centre!

The only thing I could say was that on the night we arrived, the reception team forgot to tell us that we needed to 'swipe' the card to get the elevator to work...we pressed loads of buttons before we figured it out! Everything else was just wonderful.

Relaxing, luxurious, beautiful property with a warm vibe and excellent service!

Beautiful property! Incredibly comfortable beds, large rooms, convenient storage for clothing and luggage, amazing shower with luxurious and unique personal products. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Wonderful restaurants and in room dining. I cant say enough great things about this hotel.

The only drawback for us was that the pool is a little small and was often crowded.

decor La piscina food excellent

$1000 a night with no breakfast mini bar not replenished staff appear to relish in arrogance No outside space to smoke so littering in front of the hotel and smokers huddled

great location and good time. not kid friendly.

the bed was so comfy. the common areas were amazing. pool really nice and relaxing. loved the lotion.

Luke warm water for 2 days. girl at front desk gave me attitude when I called about the Luke warm water. was fixed after 2 days. VERY expensive. room was tiny with no counter space.

5-star stay with 5-star quality

One of the few 5-star hotels that actually meets the expectations of a high rated hotel, was received with a glass of very nice prosecco while waiting for the check-in counter to be free, complimentary upgraded room at check-in. Very comfortable bed and super nice view from the balcony, quiet room and fantastic shower with body wash/shampoo from Aesop brand.

Some of the blinds do not cover the full view of the windows so the sun may shine directly towards the bed at early mornings, not big deal.
