Better than expected

So many people, BUT it was immaculate. Extremely clean!

Guy with curly hair, and glasses at the front desk, had an attitude. Heard about him from previous guest, but I experienced it for myself. If you don't want to do your job, let someone else do it. Other than him, the rest of the staff were VERY FRIENDLY, and accomodating.

Had a Day in Philly, booked this Hostel, it was Great.

It's Great! Great Location, Friendly Staff, it was perfect for one night in Philly, SEPTA is nearby which goes to 30th Street Station.

I recommend it in every aspect.

Everything was fine and the staff was wonderful, with the exception of the worker Quinn who shouts when communicating and letting me know that I had made a mistake, although I admit my mistake in the schedule, it was not the way to address me like that, I saw that other clients did not They complied with the lodging rules and he didn't say anything to them, when I was going to pay the lodging he started yelling at me, I agree that attention should be drawn but NOT SCREAMING! He also didn't apologize when I explained, totally rude. Afterwards, the Hostel is very good about recommending it, I only make that exception and I also contacted the owners to let them know what happened.

Great location and unrivaled value-for-money

Located in the old city, and is just a couple minutes from a subway station to get to places. Good kitchen where you can cook your food. I came with multiple consecutive bookings (one of the nights had been initially sold out but I caught it later when someone canceled) - and the staff were so nice as to combine them all for my stay, so that I didn't have to check out and in again, gathering all my stuff. Can store luggage after check-out.

The dining area is also the only common area in the building with the reception desk, so it gets a bit too loud there. There's a quieter lounge/common area in a different building but I never went to check it out.

Staffs are very helpful and very kind very well explained for fercility. Rooms are big enough. Clean and spacious place and they have nice free beer or drink night with very kind serve from staffs. The vandor machine items are very reasonable price. they have nice coffee machine and the coffee is really fresh and tasty. And tea is free for anytime for anyone. Free luggage storage services after checked out. Location is very good .could walk most places. And it's very beautiful I wish I could go back here again.

The room was too dark and doing my own bed after travelling for 10 hours was not pleasant.

Good hostel in olde city

Huge communal kitchen, the beds were pretty comfy. Temperature was always fine here. A wee bit overpriced for what it is but its an excellent hostel.

Constant loud blaring music in common areas including stairs - was unnecessary.
