I enjoyed my stay and would stay again. It really is a great little hotel.

Irene at the front desk was especially helpful and nice. All staff that I came into contact with were very pleasant and friendly. I really liked the decor and the location was pretty good, especially if you don't mind walking a bit to check out the city. Hotel was pretty clean. It was also not too far from the trolleys. I got a cute cup as a souvenir since it was my first stay. There's also a coffee shop attached to the hotel that came in handy. Hotel felt pretty secure since there was always someone at the front desk and, for the most part, the front entrance stayed locked - especially at night, you need to scan your key for entry. My accommodations were roomy. Sangria was free!

I feel like I'm nitpicking, but I'll add just for the sake of minor improvements that could be made. Elevators do not require key access and stair access is also open. My standing lamp in the room didn't work but I'm sure that would've been rectified had I bothered to mention it - maybe it was unplugged . There were a few small holes in the linens. The room I initially booked wasn't available on the first night so I stayed in a different one, which was not the end of the world. No microwave in the room, but one can be requested. The little drink chiller was a little too tiny to contain my leftovers/personal snacks, but they did let you keep things in a fridge near the front desk. It was a tad dusty on the floor near the head of the bed (the reason why I did not want to try to see if the lamp needed to be plugged in myself). I could only get the attached hand shower sprayer to work, not the overhead shower faucet - I'm short so this didn't bother me too much. Again overall I was satisfied with the cleanliness, I am extremely particular but would stay again.

Amazing hotel

The room is clean. The staffs are very kind. I like the bar too. It's good mood for work and hangout. Also, my housekeeper is so sweet. She is very nice and kind. It's like family. Next time if I have another business meeting here, I will stay here too!

Cool, relaxing hotel with exceptional staff

Beautiful quirky hotel with a theme based on the beat novelists. Great, well sized room with cool decorations and a great eye for the little things - check out the list of things they can bring to you room from a de-humidifier to a typewriter! Staff couldn't help any more with particular thanks to Gitanjali and Irene - thank you both! Highly recommended
