Exceptional

We really enjoyed the stay at Miranda hotel. It was clean, quiet and the breakfast was delicious.

It is in the calm area, close to the beach, restaurants and bars. The parking around was easy.

Everything was perfect. Personally, I would think about the beds. It is split in two pieces, so it was annoying sometimes.

A very nice hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, only spoilt by the mosquitos.

Very friendly owners and staff who did all they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. A coffee machine was free of charge and available 24 hours. Free chilled water; sparkling and still. A good range of breakfast food, including hot food. The hotel was within a 5 minute walk to the centre of Santa Ponsa.

The big problem was the mosquitos. My wife and I were both bitten every night, in spite of using a mosquito spray. There are trees and vegetation along the side of the hotel and, unfortunately our room was adjacent to them. Mesh at the windows would have been a help. I realise that mosquitos are always a problem in Spain, but our experience was much worse than expected. It would have been nice if the bar had not closed for the winter season, but the owner opened it up for us when he was available. No biggy since it would not have been financial viable to have it staffed with very few customers.

Superb

A good value hotel in a great location

The location was great.Really handy for buses and on a nice quiet Street.I liked the decor .It was bright & cheerful.The free water was a nice touch.The staff were very helpful.

Great place, great breakfast and great people!

The breakfast! OMG, we loved it! If we could suggest, we would say to have pancakes every single day! And of course the accommodations, the location and how beautiful and silent the around was.

That there weren't elevator until our room that was on the rooftop; and, me and my friends had big and heavy bags. Actually, what I didn't liked, it is that this was not clear on the hotel details, that there it didn't had lifts; so, we were caught unaware of it.

Passable

No warm water at night

The parking place was relativ easy to find, but i suppose that is because we were there in October.

what was wrong: 1. There were no blankets. It was pretty cold at night, so i called to manager, which must be available (as it was mentioned in the hotel) 24h, but that is not true. At this night, around 00.00-00.30, nobody answered on my calls. 2. There was no toilet paper. 3. The locks in the door are terrible. They can be opened with a screwdriver or paperclip. So before going to bed I double checked if the door was closed, and in the morning we woke up with the complete opened door. It seems like nothing is missing, but I'm not sure. 4. there was no warm water after 23.00 and till 07.00, really?? 5. I have told everything in the morning to a woman on the recioption. she was not surprised by these facts. especially the lack of hot water, she knew very well that there is no warm water at night. They didnt offer us any discount, just offered us coupons for drinks at the bar. who needs them? Awfull!
