Roof top cafe was great! Lovely food and good coffee. Always left happy, with a full stomach. Amazing yoga on the rooftop was a great addition! Will hopefully be back at sometime.

Stay is amazing. Host Anuj tries to create a second home for everyone who stays there. Host and staff are friendly in nature. No safety concerns. I went alone and came back with lots of good friends and memories. Must try for everyone who travel as group or solo. Roof top is the highlight of the woodpacker

One of the best hostels to ever exist. The vibe of the place is just so vibrant and calming at the same time. Perfect place to relax and meet interesting people. Host and staff are just amazing, super friendly and so helpful. The rooftop cafe-Gaia's cafeis like the cherry on the cake. The cool host of the cafe is "Dosa" the cat who ll keep you entertained. 11/10 highly recommended.

A place magic happens

A very spacious property and a view from he rooftop is very jolly on sunny days or even rainy days. Highly open minded staff are very helpful and great company for guests. we had a good long conversations and jam session (which spontaneously happens), had a great time with them and guests there and ended up to extend my stay for 2 weeks and longer. I have stayed in a couple of properties in Auroville, Woodpacker is the one of the most memorable place. I thank very much for all Woodpacker crew made my stay so special.

it is a bit far from main road for a quick grocery shopping. otherwise, that feature offers calm and peaceful vibe, also its a boost to make bonding among guests though:
