We were happy to support Maui's effort to survive the fire.

We had an ensuite bathroom; access to beach accessories; onsite parking; nice swimming pool.

The room was physically small. The only place to sit was on the bed.

Charming Maui guesthouse

Maureen really has her hosting down to a fine art - had lots of tips and was very helpful getting settled in. The room had interesting tropical decor, which set it apart from the cookie cutter style of chain hotels. There were lots of little touches to make guests more comfortable: beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, a beach bag, a cooler, and even an umbrella to take along on day trips.

The only thing I missed was a little table, but there was no room for it.

Very good location, only stay at the hotel to sleep and eat.

The location was amazing to get around the island. The outside area was nice to sit at.

Certain rooms can get very small an feel cramped so pay attention to what youre booking. Not every room has a kitchen, just a microwave and an freezer.

property is exceptionally clean, swimming pool is heated and well maintained. we love that guests can go in and out of the property without bothering anyone, place is quiet and in a very safe area.

We loved this place and will definitely stay here again!

We loved how private it felt! It was in a good, quiet and safe area. Check in and check out was very easy with the instructions given. We stayed in the Mills room the bed was firm (our preference) and comfy. Each bedroom has a window A/C unit that worked great! It got very cold at night. The pool was great and they had washer and dryer on site for a fee of $5 per load. They have beach towels and chairs for your use. The rooms have small coolers you can use if you want to take them to the beach. Its near a Safeway and places to eat. What more could you ask for!

The bathroom was small but had no issues with it. The TV seems to have channels from antenna or something. Id take a Fire Stick/Roku if you like to watch movies in bed.

I think it's the best what you can get for that price

It was a blast for the money you pay! The location is perfect, we could easily choose where to drive the next day and went different directions every day. You can borrow the chairs and snorkeling from the common area. I loved that you can refill your water bottle with filtered water near the pool. Our room (and I assume all the other ones) had a cooler and beach towels that we could take with us. The host is very polite and she can recommend where to get very tasty macaroons.

I can think of only one small thing, the owners could upgrade the towels - change them with 100% cotton towels. I also noticed in the reviews about the noise from the chickens, but I was so tired in a good way from swimming and lying on the beach, so that I didn't hear them during the night.

The place to stay.

Love this place! Price is great, you get a better deal the longer your stay. I love that they had beach gear available to use. The place is clean and the owner is prompt at answering any questions. The locations is perfect. I think central of the island is best place to stay. All between Lahaina, Kihei, Haleakala, and RTH. Close to OGG airport, Maui swap meet Saturdays, and the beach near mamas fish house with lots of turtles. I would definitely stay here again.

FYI there are no long full body mirrors.

If you like to be ignored by the host upon checkin, cockroaches in your shower, a cat fight in front of your window the whole night, an AC with the noise level of a truck, and a room insulation that makes you hear every snoring of the neighboring rooms, then this place is for you! P.S.: have no allergies to dust.
