Disappointing

It was a place to sleep and just about to get clean

No breakfast taken. I didnt like anything about it All fittings etc old and cheap. Price expensive Find somewhere else!

Rooms dark and dingy. Bathroom basic old and dark Downhill to centre a long way and longer back.

Good

Great views on the shared balcony. Not a busy area. We arrived late at night and the owner kindly waiting up for us to arrive. Free Parking was great.

The shower ceiling in the room we had was a bit low so my partner kept bumping his head on it. But there isn't really a solution to the issue other than to be aware of it.

The area and building was beautiful with a lovely walk into the old town

Quite a abrupt owner and very confusing check in. Poky and very musty smelling room. Great view from main lounge balcony of building.

Superb

We were there for 2 nights and 1 full day, and I think for the money it was a very good choice.

Location and view, plus the size of the room and the cleanliness of the facility.

Would have liked to have had shampoo and a hair dryer, but we had the essentials of what we needed.

Disappointing, we felt like enemies there.

It was closed to old town, that is all.

They did not know about us coming (although we we were sending messages), we had to wait. The owner was angry and he expressed clearly how unhappy he is we only booked one night. He did not share with us info that we can use the shared space. It was extremely unpleasant situation to check in. There was also no body for check out. We felt like enemies. Shower drain was clogged, after obvious long years of usage the bathroom cabined still had a protection foil! The overall quality was cheap, especially for this money. Disappointing place. Highly NOT recommended. Croatians should learn how to be pleasant and welcoming and clean!

Nice spot close to Old Town with free parking

Beautiful sea view! Good location fairly close to the Old Town (15-30 min depending on where youre going). Be aware on your way out of old town its uphill a taxi back would be pretty quick but we didnt mind walking. Rocky beach about 250 steps down from the apartment and Banje Beach about 10 minutes down the hill. Good cooking facilities and you can eat out on the shared balcony (our room had a nice window with raised sitting as another option). Free parking was a huge plus unsure why others have found an issue with it. The reviews mentioning it being across a busy road are referring to a single lane, one-way street which has a crosswalk.

Communication with the host was not the best - checking in was a little confusing because we arrived with the car but hadnt received info on where the parking was. If you are driving down into Dubrovnik, you reach a junction and make a sharp right and the parking is on the right immediately after the crosswalk (the villa is location at the junction). Also a bit confused where the villa itself is as there is no sign outside. Its down the stairs by the purple flowers and to the left hand side with a sign on the door to call a number. Also this was mentioned in some other reviews do be careful on the ceiling in this room! We both hit our heads several times because the beams are huge so even if you are aware of the slope it can be hard to avoid.

Overall a very good place to stay in Dubrovnik - a nice walk into the old town, very convenient positiion and car parkin

Small things that would make a difference - a toaster rather than a sandwich maker, maybe a cafetire, a dish cloth? Shampoo.

The location is good

Its not clean enough and the infrastructure of the appartment is problematic because is on rooftop so you have to bend over lota of times and carefull on your head. The toilet a bit broken and totally not so clean.
