Exceptional

Everything was very good . The host provided surprise of some vegetable and fruit from their own garden ,and some hand made bread .they are super friendly and helpful for any problems . They have very equipped villa and some cute cats .the swimming pool was clean , the barbecue was very nice as well , I will definitely recommend to anyone with children .thanks to the host .

The villa was comfortable and enabled us to visit Knossos which was the point of staying there.

The villa was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and there were lovely food gifts. The outside areas were delightful and varied and the pool area was excellent. Unfortunately the weather didnt let us use the pool. Communication with the host was excellent and we were met by her parents who were charming.

The location wasnt ideal, however it was well placed for visiting Knossos and the surrounding mountain villages.

Quiet and peaceful place with no neighbours nearby. All kitchen and bathroom accessories are available. Washing mashine together with washing detergents also on site. Cool swimming pool (not so deep but enough for relaxing) and a barbecue area. The hosts suprised us with a gift - fresh grapes, bread, honey and cookies! We really recommend this house as a good base for trips around the island and for those who would like to have a bit od rest without all these noisy city sounds.

Exceptional Cretan hospitality in a beautiful rural location

A home from home. The owners were so hospitable and generous. They gave us fresh fruit and vegetable, honey and beautiful bread. They also brought lots of different types of bread from their bakery halfway through the holiday. They were so kind and friendly! The also provided all the essentials that some places dont, things like salt, pepper, oil, herbs, coffee. They also provided soaps, dishwasher tables, toilet paper and washing machine capsules, they have thought of everything. The stone house is beautiful, the owners have lots traditional decorations around which gives the house a very cosy feeling. Big comfy sofas and good WiFi. They are very house proud and everything was spotlessly clean. There is a great mix of shaded and sunny areas outside, lots of seating, with a beautiful outdoor cooking area for bbq (we bought charcoal but then found it was kindly provided too) We really enjoyed the privacy of the pool and location, its in a rural spot close to the highway (you need a car for this area) The pool is lovely, it stays warm and is regularly cleaned, the view of the hills is very pretty and there are lovely birds in the area. Marina, the daughter, is in touch by text and speaks perfect English, we were met by her lovely parents who dont speak English but we enjoyed worrking it out and we recommend the fun of google translate if you meet them! Thank you for a wonderful holiday!
