A completely successful and perfect accommodation for us as a family. The communication with Bob was excellent from the beginning. We were able to find out about everything at any time and all questions were answered quickly and precisely via booking.com. The house is beautifully situated in the mountains outside Heraklion and is about 25 minutes from the port and airport. From Dafns you can discover Crete easily - you need a car in any case. The house is modern and offers everything you need for a holiday, the air conditioning is top. The second room is a small separate flat - perfect for our adult daughter. The garden is beautiful with fragrant citrus and a lovely pool, sunbeds and parasols. We had a fantastic time in Crete.

A wonderful house away from mass tourism - yet just a 10 minutes ride from Iraklio. The outside area with terrasses and pool is very nice.

It is a big advantage to have a car - there is only one proper road to the house - beware of other Google Maps suggestions.

Wonderful vacation

Wonderful vacation in a quiet place surrounded by olive trees. The house is very well equipped and comfortable. The outdoor area is amazing with its lovely swimming pool and lemon trees. Short distance to Heraklion. I highly recommend Lithines Villa. Please note there are many homeless cats nearby so please take some food for them.

Lovely stay -we would love to come back!

It was a really nice villa with a lovely garden and amazing fruit trees. We enjoyed using the pool which was well designed and well equipped. The separate apartment worked well for us as our adult son enjoyed having his own space, but maybe wouldnt work well for a family with young children.

The information in the description could have been clearer as we didnt realize it was a separate apartment. We also struggled to find the villa so clearer directions would have been helpful. My husband banged his head on the cooker hood, which was a bit unfortunate

Amazing family holiday

We have just spent a week in this beautiful villa, 3 kids and 2 adults.The views are truly breathtaking, out in the country side away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Nice fruit trees and mountains all around. The villa has everything you need for a great stay, we cooked in and went out for meals to. The owners came by and they where lovely they let us pick fresh figs from the orchard. The kids loved the pool and so did we! Everything was super clean and tidy/ new. Unfortunately the weather was raining a little but we still had a great week in the Vila. You definitely need a car as it is a remote location but the village of dafnes has a few small shops up the road and a lidl 15 mins drive away. We didn't want to come home. Thanks for a great holiday!!
