Good experience

It was a silent and peaceful area. Even though it was inside a residential area they made sure the renting villas are placed away from the residence. The pool was really nice. The host was helpful and tried to accommodate everything we needed.

The door keys were a little rusty so we did face a few incidents of the doors being locked and we struggled to open them (rooms & bathrooms). There was an area which had a bad smell. Even though it did not bother us too much it would have been nice not to face that. The TV connection definitely needs to be changed/Upgraded as we had no channels to watch. It was a dialog TV connection and I dont think it would hurt to have a better package so more channels are available.

Well air-conditioned, and fans do a great job of keeping the interior cool. Enough space, large hall and each room has an AC unit. The custodian was a really nice guy who seems to live near property, he helped us locate the property on arrival helped unload luggage and provided a welcome drink. Also next morning he brought us some delicious Srilankan breakfast. Thumbs up to the custodian - I think his name is Chaminda.

There is just one terrible problem - there was a very strong foul smell in the property, smelling like a leaking sewer/drainage pipe. The foul smell comes through the windows, very strong in the backyard, and very present in the bath rooms. At some point I even worried whether it will become a health hazard. Also one of the drainage pipes from an upper floor bathroom has previously leaked into the room bellow - you can see the wooden box fixture around it and the water marks on the ceiling of the room in the first floor. For the price I paid - supposed to be a luxury hotel rate at this location - I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the environment. Also the bedding and towels seemed they have been sitting there for a long time - I would expect freshly laundered linen and towels for the price I paid - that is a very basic thing any guesthouse should be providing. The property address and pictures I got from my booking are different from the one they put me in. They said they have 7 properties on the same street - they could have easily moved me into one that wasn't smelling bad.

Beautiful Villa

I am from Indonesia and have stayed in this property for one night with group of friend. I think this is the best facility in sri lanka. Everything is available inside villa. Cooking facility, ironing, electric kettle, all room equipped with ac and fan. Including huge living room also have ac, the property ia very clean and High class. The staff and the property owner is very hospitality, and property located in very convenient places but so quite and peaceful. One villa can accommodate a group of people. Chaminda is very polite and serves all things we need. There are a hugh and beautiful outdoor terrace in the back side of property at 1st floor. So it is very private and peaceful places for night time outdoor dinner. If you looking for accomodations near colombo and negombo, this is the best option.

Good

Great facilities, Very comfortable, very spacious and clean. Felt homely and caretaker was friendly. Whole house was air conditioned. location is calm and quiet, and no disturbances. Neighbourhood was great and close to many restaurants and city centre. Worth for the money we paid.

Breakfast was ok, it was pre decided and we did not have a choice. Not much outdoors. Pool is a shared pool inside a housing scheme. (Villa was one of the houses) We got additionally charged for using the gas cooker, even though we only used it for like 5 mins.
