Pleasant

The outdoor and indoor pools the spa and gym. The breakfast and nice seating areas with a view.

The staff dont seem to have a supervisor and cant answer questions or solve problems. For example we did enquire before booking if kids can use the spa. When we arrived we were told only over 16yrs old!! We were also told there would be live music over Christmas in the bar area. There was no music. Such a shame.

Facilities and childrens activities and breakfast all amazing.

Provide shampoo and conditioner and tea bags and coffee machine and milk in the apartments. Provide more pool towels without tokens. Keep the pool and spa open until 8 pm.

Superb

Excellent stay

Everything was great! Excellent service, great room size, beautiful facilities and green area, great indoor pool, awesome breakfast. We didnt use the outdoor pools (winter season) but they are nice.

For a 5-star hotel, the layout of the bedroom could be better for a family with kids (the bed for the kids could be better (instead of sofa-bed). Price of the Buffet is expensive when comparing to restaurants in the city.

Unclean, disappointing & not worth the money

I recently stayed at a hotel that I expected to be top-notch, given its 5-star rating, but my experience was underwhelming. When we first entered our room, it clearly hadn't been cleaned properly, with hair scattered around. We asked for it to be cleaned, but unfortunately, the staff seemed to forget our request. The spa area didn't live up to expectations either. It was unkempt and just didn't feel inviting. The lobby also had an unpleasant odor, which was quite off-putting. To make up for the oversight in our room's cleanliness, the hotel had promised us a small gift upon checkout. This was a nice gesture, but it was forgotten just like our cleaning request. Honestly, I had a much better experience at their Paco de Arcos location, which felt like a completely different standard. I wouldn't say my stay was terrible, but it definitely didn't match up to the 5-star experience I was anticipating.

Good

Good for families with small children not recommend for mature couples who require peace and relaxation.

Easy parking, good location for Sintra, you do require a car as out in quite location. Great view of Sintra Palace.

As a mature couple who travel a lot, this hotel is aimed at families with small children and young couples. Not really for us, rather noisy at breakfast and pool full of children.

Good, could've been better

Staff was amazing, room was comfortable with a great view, indoor pool was nice and Jacuzzi as well. The food was really good, never ate Pesto Gouda before and it was so nice. I quite enjoyed it. Maybe a once a year vacation with the spouse

Our bed had dust bunnies below it. There should be a disclaimer that you need shower caps for the indoor pool and Jacuzzi. And that if you don't have one, its 5. There could've been more towels available in the room as well as an extra blanket in case its colder than usual. It feels like although you pay for your stay, many things cost extra, which isn't disclaimed before. Also having to schedule a time to go to the indoor pool is just silly and the same with the dinner. If I want to go, I should be able to go whenever I want. I paid for it. I know these are small things, but it takes away from the overall experience. Also the staff at the reception told us if we have any questions to just call reception. I tried and nobody picked up. For last, and this is in no way the hotels fault, but the room next to ours had a weed smoker. Which I'm okay with in general, but when I opened the balcony door at 7AM, the only thing i could smell was the weed and not the fresh Sintra air.
