Superb

Good pastries, great, central location, quaint decor, modern bathroom, clean overall.

The staff on hand weren't the most friendly, but they are probably not paid much.

Disappointing

Disappointing (poor value for money)

1) No AC! This fact should be front and center on the booking site. It was warm and the fan in the room (inside the closet) was filthy! The window opened right onto the escape ladder and an alley so anyone could easily see an open window from the alley, walk up the escape ladder, and step right into an open window. It was unsafe to open a window (especially at night), so I had to use the filthy fan and my allergies kicked in. 2) Very tiny area around the sink -- not enough space for toiletries, dental/hair products, and other necessities. fyi - I booked a Queen Deluxe room just to have some space around the sink since the standard room was just a pedestal sink. 3) Shower stall has no place to put bath products -- had to put them on the floor of the shower; this is inconvenient and a potential safety hazard (especially for people who may get dizzy or lose their balance when they have to bend down to the floor). 4) No cancellation policy (only booked because it was the location of an event).

Very overpriced and extremely outdated

The location was decent

Extremely outdated, no basics like AC, the curtain fell off just from pulling it back, closet door doesn't close, and takes several minutes to get hot water. Breakfast was only meal I checked out while there and it was underwhelming to say the least.

Sleep deprived.

The location was convenient. We did not eat breakfast at the Club.

The interior noise was deafening! Event attendees trooping up and down the stairs (its an old building), music from the venues and people talking, needless to say sleep was elusive.

Nice place, check in service and breakfast could be improved.

Old world charm

VERY slow check in, took ages to even see if room was as ready for an early checkin when they had weeks of notice of this request and werent that busy. Didnt offer us a drink of anything while we waited. Continental breakfast selection was minimal and no staff around at breakfast to answer any questions- had to go looking for them. Plastic flowers in foyer didnt really fit the ambience of the the Club.

Great stay at the center of the city, safe, convenient, room is clean abd has all the amenities.

Location at Nob Hill, amazing historic building, perfect gym.

Breakfast is too poor and too sweet.

Wouldn't stay again

It was close to what we needed to get to The staff members were nice and tried to make our stay better

Parking was far, limited, and expensive The shower had next to no pressure, and the water was downright cold No A/C No fridge in the room Windows wouldn't stay open Phones didn't work Late night entry, while secure, felt unsafe waiting outside for someone to answer the phone The hand soap STUNK
