Superb

Safe, Clean, convenient location

Every time I travel, I always stay at a Tru by Hilton hotel. The location was quite convenient right off the interstate. The hotel itself is a lot smaller than other ones I stayed at. The breakfast was exceptional. Everything was clean and made for a good one night stay.

When I first arrived the front desk, guy didn't immediately welcome me in or anything. He was on the computer, clicking buttons, and it wasn't till like two minutes after me standing there did he say something to me and then continued clicking buttons on the computer and check-in took a bit longer than I would've liked. When I checked out the next morning, first thing in the morning. The lady at the front desk was nice but she also seem like she didn't really want to be there because she had a bit of an attitude not really directed at me more like, just directed in the environment. Other than my two interactions with hotel staff, I had a very pleasant stay. One other thing that Tru really needs to upgrade is the pillows because they are complete crap, it doesn't matter which hotel you're staying at the pillows are not even supportive and hurt your neck.

Clean and Comfortable with a few minor inconveniences

Room was clean. Staff was nice. Beds comfortable.

Internet wasnt working the day of arrival, so had to hand write information for checkin. Only got 1 key because of this and no TV. The room was still cold even after having the temperature set to 75. At 10am the fire alarm went off and scared us to death. It went for a few minutes but Then it turned off and everything seemed fine but by the time we were ready for check out the elevators didnt work and the cleaning ladies wouldnt even move when we were trying to get down the stairs with all of our luggage. I always try to stay at Tru and while the hotel itself was very nice, these were just inconveniences that made our stay unpleasant.
