Great stay! Will stay again when we return to Bentota

Great little resort ! Staff were fantastic and even organised a cultural evening for all guests while we were there Kavindu, Upul and the entire team went out of their way to look after us and organised activities and transport to where ever we needed to go

Gorgeous Boutique Hotel with Amazing Staff

Amazing rooms that feature a beautiful waterfall shower and open up to a wonderful communal pool. This small boutique Hotel is characterised by the wonderful staff who go out of their way to ensure your stay is the best it can possibly be. The small restaurant serves a varied menu of delicious food. The hotel has it's own three wheeler which is very convenient when looking for lifts into Bentota Town which is a 10-minute drive away. To Kavindu, Amal, Upul and the entire team at Tree of Life Resort thank you so much for such a wonderful stay! All the best from Nayana, Chamath and Rumali! X

Please be aware that this isn't a beachfront hotel and you will need to get a tuk tuk into main Bentota Town/beach. This isn't an issue as the hotel had a tuk tuk and will gladly take you.

A joyful and unforgettable experience.

We loved our stay at Tree of Life. This truly is a gem of a boutique hotel. The room is so clean and comfortable with an incredible shower and bathroom. You feel like you are living in a truly safe and private home. The hotel is about a ten min walk to the beautiful beach in Bentota but we always took advantage of the free Tuktuk rides from the most amazing staff that work so hard. They all go above and beyond to make sure their guests are well cared for. Upul and his wife treat you like friends of the family and we felt blessed to have met them. Upul took us on memory making excursions. We went on the river safari, Yala national park, a trip to Galle taking in the moonstone mine and topped off by releasing baby turtles into the sea at sunset. We had fabulous food at Tree of Life and also recommend Malis and Vintage as great spots to eat. On our last night, the team gave us a farewell dinner that we will never forget. My husband enjoyed a red snapper from that mornings catch and I had the most incredible prawns. It was such a kind gesture and we were really touched by their generosity. This is a very special place to be and we highly recommend you stay here. Thank you so much to everyone at Tree of Life for giving us the most memorable holiday. We will be back!

Great hospitality, absolutely nice and beautiful place. A place you must stay in Bentota. We enjoyed both the nights here. Their breakfast was awesome and same goes with lunch. Tuk tuk on the house to and fro the beach. A gem of a place and a place to return to.

the staffs are so nice and they let me late check out as i got a very late flight and they offer to send us to dinner place with their tuktuk. room is clean and big and i love the shower and every room got a swing outside the door. very nice!

There were mosquitoes, big black lizards and cockroaches in the room, it was quite surprising given such great reviews of the hotel. Poor hygiene...

Great boutique hotel with gorgeous bathroom

Hotel is a small cluster of mini apartment style rooms around a pool (approx 5-6). We were the only people in the hotel for the two nights we visited. Beautiful pool and relaxing vibe. The room was lovely and big with great air con. The bathroom and shower was by far the best we had in our whole two weeks in sri lanka it was luxury for the price of the hotel. Great choice of breakfast. Hosts picked us up in a tuk tuk free of charge.

18 mins walk from beach - needed a tuk tuk to get there. It have been nice for the room to be refreshed on day two of our stay (for example - bed made, refreshed mugs)

Amazing place would go again but needs a better bed.

The design is beautiful and clean and interesting. Staff all very friendly and a very different kind of hotel. Also not too far from the beach and they offered a free tuktuk ride to the beach.

I think the only issue was that the bed wasnt comfortable.
