Great location but building was in need of renovation but old so know how hard that is to keep up I thought they would h

Position was fantastic, over looking ironbridge itself Lots of pubs within walking distance

No heating throughout our stay No hot water Electric shower only Rooms needed decorating and were not clean Towels were not changed and needed replacing

Poor

Sorry cannot recommend, particularly in the Winter. Staff lovely, views stunning. That is it.

Location is fabulous and parking was quite good next door, although very limited. The staff were very friendly and chatty. The tiling in the reception area is beautiful.

There was no heating in the hotel. It was freezing. The rooms were damp & windows dripping with condensation. There was mould in the bathrooms. The towels felt as though you had already used them. They supplies a small fan heater in the room which had not been switched on to air the room at all, so on arriving in the evening, it was stupidly cold and damp. Not a good experience. My Dad is 84 and had to walk up four flights of stairs to his room (we were aware there was no lift but thought perhaps they could have put us on the first floor but on enquiry this was not possible) It was a very difficult two days for us and whilst the people were lovely, the hotel for us was a disaster. We are also aware that the hotel is undergoing renovation, although there is no sign of any Works being carried out at all. Sorry guys but cannot recommend your hotel - particularly in the winter months. On the good side. The location is fabulous and to wake up in the morning to see the views is stunning. I will be contacting Booking.com as this was an alternative to our original booking that they recommended knowing the situation with my Dad.

Basic but homely

The staff were lovely, really friendly. The food was excellent, both evening meal and breakfast. The bed and pillows were really comfy. I would stay there again as long as the heating was working. Great location

The central heating wasn't working so we had to use a small fan. Not ideal. Didn't realise there was no parking facilities. Didn't use the wardrobe as there was lots of dust in the bottom

Disappointing

A low budget hotel but that does reflect in the facilities

Location was great with a lovely view from the window

Very dated. No heating. They left a small electric heater. Bathroom had mould around the rim and the ceiling was peeling. Lights on the landing were not working. Needs a good update.

Disappointing

Very comfortable room , amazing location and view but sadly no catering and very limited bar access

The location was second to none

The hotel was about to be closed down when I arrived so no catering at all and very limited bar facilities. Right at the end of the stay I heard that the owners of the building had agreed to fund a renovation and it was going to stay open !!!
