A nice hotel room overshadowed by sneaky, expensive and dishonest management - Amar conning us.

The rooms were nice, breakfast not great. The young members of staff helped with baggage etc were polite and respectful. I would not stay here due to the dishonesty and fraudulence from the management connected to our experience. We felt disappointed and cheated.

We felt disappointed and cheated with this hotel experience. Do not book any extras with this hotel! They RIP YOU OFF with taxis/trips in a huge way! Though the room was nice - I found them dishonest, untrustworthy and out to take advantage and CON you out of money. It did not make for an overall positive experience. We were 3 adults, booked a trip to the Taj Mahal and it cost us 13,000r (130). The driver Bobby was lovely. However that was all we got for our money (a taxi that would normally cost 5 or 6000r. Our tour guide never showed up and we were given a random guy we think might have been found of the street. He told us not to tell anyone we were with him and had forgotten his ID badge at home. He had little to no knowledge of the Taj Mahal. No information was given by the hotel about the extra fees for entrance and other things inside the taj. When I spoke to Amar from the hotel on the phone that evening he said he would return 1000r for the tour guide issue. I asked where the rest of our money had gone and he said on petrol and toll fees - this accounted for 1 to 2000r. So approximately 6000r (60) was unaccounted for - clearly a huge profit for the DECEPTION, POOR QUALITY SERVICE and LIES we had been told. Furthermore, Transfer from the hotel costs normally 400-500 rupees, they charge 1500 (and in low quality transport compared to a normal modern taxi with air con). I was ok with this at first for the convenience but on top of the Taj Mahal problems, another example of them trying to rip people off.

The staff is friendly and helpful The room is clean Breakfast is good

The construction noises came to room during the day until 7.30pm when we were staying in the hotel and it was not stopped even in the new year holiday. The staff found my face washing oil after we changed the room, however, they just threw it into the rubbish room without to inform me. There was no hot water in my room for the last night so that we could not take shower before we went to sleep. The staff tried to fixed it but it was failed.

Literally the best place we stayed in our whole India trip. Amar, the receptionist welcomed us after having bad days and helped us a lot. The hotel was amazing and would recommend everybody to visit and it's worth it's money. Amar, also helped us and booked us a 3 day trip with a private driver Satpal which was the best driver we ever had. Thank you, for making our stay memorable.

The bathroom smelled like urine. My husband had to wash the floor with the hand spray. No towels. No room to walk around the bed or to put the bags. Was down a dark alley. Pick up at the airport left us standing around for 45 minutes in the cold. AND YOU WROTE A WHOLE REVIEW THAT I DID NOT WRITE AND POSTED IT ON THE PROPERTY BEFORE I EVEN GOT TO THE AIRPORT!!! I WILL NEVER TRUST YOUR REVIEWS AGAIN!!

I thought the staff were friendly and very accomodating. The guys working at the breakfast station were good at their job. The metro station is 5 mins walking distance from the hotel and you can get around easily using the metro. The hotel let us keep our luggage in the lobby area for the day after we had checked out in the morning at no extra cost. They also provided complimentary tea/coffee/juice whenever we waited at the lobby area which was nice of them!

The Paharganj neighbourhood is not for everyone. We booked this place because the location seemed quite central and easily commutable. However, when we reached there we found that the hotel is in the middle of a very busy and congested market street and it is difficult for taxis to reach/move about in this place. There are ways to go about this : You could either go to the main road a few gullies away and book a taxi however if you have luggage etc. it can be challenging. The hotel reception could also book a taxi through their contacts. The bathtub was not clean and the drain was blocked when we first moved into the room. The sink was blocked as well.

Good location, no hot water

Location is great, rooms are clean and modern

I only could take one hot shower during the stay. Hot water stopped working from the evening. I notified the staff at 11:30 and no solution was found till 13:30 so I had to checkout without showering. Hotel offered free airport transport as compensation (Uber costs about 6 USD). They made me cancel my stay in booking.com (to avoid bad reviews?)
