This was my 3rd stay at this hotel and it has doubled in price over 6 months. Incompetent staff.

Basic room which was OK but not for the price I paid on this booking.

Check-in procedure took 30 minutes per customer. The system required hundreds of mouse clicks to achieve anything, Payment on all my credit cards was rejected with a "System error", first time this has happened to me on this planet. The staff ask if I can settle in cash as if I walk around with plastic bags of cash like in a middle eastern bazaar. 80% of the staff at reception or with customer contact have elementary German language skills so there is something lost in translation. The room I was assigned was occupied by someone else, so had to return to the reception for a reassignment. Obviously not the only system error. Personally this is the last time I book this place the previous stays were OK, but at half the price.

The worst experience I have ever had

The room was nice, a bit dirty but fancy.

When we arrived, the staff was very rude, they didnt speak any english, they just gave a paper to sign, I got no receipt and they accused me of entering the reception when I wanted to pay for a soda that I grabbed from the lobby. In the morning for the check-out, the staff said I havent paid for the room, even though I showed the transaction that was made in order to pay for the hotel. To sum it all I had a horrible stay because of the staff working at that hotel.

Lovely hotel, but staff could do much better

The room and bathroom were lovely, very clean and comfortable.

When I arrived (late because I'd been detained by the border police at the airport!) I was really tired and hungry and there was a long queue to check in at reception. One staff member was dealing with us while his colleague was chatting to him. The chatty one then went outside for a cigarette. Not the best service when there's a queue of people. Had he helped us instead of smoking we all would have been checked in much faster, so my first impression was very poor.
