potential but disappointing

there was a party on the ground floor and we were above this so not a relaxing early night

noise. grubby, uncomfortable bed.

Clean and functional just a bit put off by breakfast experience

Very noisy till gone 12am.Fried Breakfast didnt include juice or toast?? An Extra 2.50? Waitress very abrupt more interested in trying to get us to pay for extra items at breakfast and what wasnt included, no menus, Tea was like thick tar because it was so stewed, could get a fresh cup. Literally chased us up the stairs and demanded we go straight to bar to pay immediately rather than when we checked out, not very friendly.

Superb

Perfect 3 star hotel for those with restricted finances.

Cleanliness of room, which was fully serviced every day. Bathroom shower of good pressure and functional, however there was no accessory shelf. Washbasin was excellent good pressure on all taps and perfect flow of hot water. Building quite clearly well maintained. Perfectly located near post box, and public transport stops. Short walk to local high street where eateries of all grades and retailers of all types abounded. All grades of staff were friendly and approachable.

Bathroom extractor fan noisy.Food menus ambiguous and costings unclear.
