Below average

Extremely over priced for what we got. Parking not even close to hotel and in the pouring rain it was ridiculous. This should be more clearly explained when booking. We booked a room including breakfast when we checked in nothing was explained to us. We went down for breakfast at 9 only to be told it was over. Our air conditioning didnt work we asked about it only to be told basically too bad. Phone didnt work. Overall we were not happy.

Lovely comfortable stay, location excellent

Breakfast very good, served with a smile. The bedroom was excellent - really huge with a view and the most comfiest of beds.

Just the usual NZ thing - bar shuts at about 9pm so no chance of a nightcap after eating out.

The hotel is a shot walk away from good places to eat in most directions. I was surprised at how clean my room was.

The elevator was incredibly slow. Sometimes it was quicker to walk to the third floor than to wait for it.

Tidy comfortable room, shower was awesome, great location for a night in town.

Lift or doors outside the room were a bit clunky in the morning, with people coming and going. Not a major but just something that could be improved.

Nice for 1 night stay

We liked simple but chic decor, nicely sized bathroom and the view from the corner room. Online check in was easy and allowed for late check out

OK, but in future we would book a hotel with secure parking, particularly in the centre of the city.

The bathroom was new, clean and well appointed. Nice fluffy towels!

When we arrived we didn't realise that there was no secure parking for guests. This was disappointing as we had two sets of golf clubs that needed security. It was a long hike to the parking lot! Thankfully the staff arranged secure lockup on site. The facility had a stale odour both at reception, in the foyers and in the room. The staff were 'friendly' but lacked what I would consider a professional rapport. The cleaner came out to the foyer and swished her mop while I was waiting to check in! As an 'art' hotel, it has so much potential......

Only one elevator, which is all the time busy reason seven and pick lady restaurant on the roof top , which cannot be changed . Expect that all was very pleasant stay .

Okey but not welcoming

Easy access to sightseeing. Room was tidy and spacious.

Staff didn't seem to know anything or be very helpful. No smiles or acknowledgement when you pass. Cleaner didn't come and was no info about the hotel in the room or arriving. The info from phone was wrong about the restaurant upstairs as it was downstairs by the lift. Very confusing and strange
