Full payment in advance, with no options to cancel- for a reason.

Nothing. There is a reason why the property offers no refund, and no cancellation- I paid for a 5 nights and spent there less than 10 minutes. I wouldn't let my parrot or dog stay in the room I've got.

Everything could have been better- no on-site staff, the one on the phone was least helpful. Seaview meant street view, I might have missed the shared bathroom, when booked (booking.com- that should be highlighted prominently- the price wouldn't suggest it), cold, unbelievably cramped room. Would I've had an iron and ironing board? Don't know- no staff on site. Would I have figured out how to access the shared bathroom? Don't know, I've only stayed 10 minutes. Would I have been able to hang my shirts and suits somewhere? Not a chance. I hate overpaying for anything, hence I chose this guesthouse, and the lack of cancellation options should have made it obvious, that it wasn't going to be acceptable, but I was in a rush- and paid the price for it. Suggestion: pay 4/day extra (St Anne's hotel for example, or many others), for an en-suite, with helpful staff on site, with paying on arrival.

Great host, spotless rooms, comfy beds. Would stay here again!

Host was very friendly, made checking in very easy. I had booked twin room for me and my son, but was issue with room, host gave me and my son seperate double rooms at no extra cost. Rooms were comfy , spotless, nicely decorated. Location was great for what we needed. Really couldn't have asked for more to be honest.

Overall nice stay. Shame about the lukewarm shower.

Easy check in. Comfortable bed. Host was helpful.

Shower was cold. Host did a just this but unfortunately went from cold to lukewarm. Room was also not very warm. No breakfast available at the property but there is a great cafe called Christophers about 2-3mins walk away which serves amazing breakfast even has gluten free options. Highly recommend!

Nothing.

Nobody at reception. Had 2 flights of stairs taking our luggage. Room had previous guest stuff left in a drawer. The bed felt like the springs was going to be a problem. We pulled out the towels for a shower and both had loads of brown stains. That was when we decided to leave, we'd only been there an hour.
