Lovely staff. Comfortable enough.

Very friendly staff. Room was cosy and comfortable. Big bed! Takes up a lot of the space in the room but depends on your preferences - I would rather a big bed than more floor space. Nice lobby. Cannot comment on breakfast or restaurant but the area looked nice :)

The tv was a little temperamental. Only normal breakfast tea and coffee options in room (no decaf, herbal teas). Toilet roll holder was broken/ wonky and the loo roll kept falling off. Shower tiles and grout felt old and could do with a refresh. Stain on pillow. Large double bed was just two singles pushed together, kept creating a gap between beds. Lots of minor things that wouldnt be significant individually but all together made it feel less high quality. Despite these things would still return, theyre all very easy fixes :)

Disappointing

A reasonable stay. The good, attentive staff in the evening were completely let down by the morning shift.

Good location. Evening staff were lovely, helpful and attentive.

Uncomfortable beds, none of our party had a good nights sleep and bathrooms were dirty. Evening staff were fantastic. Unfortunately let down hugely by the staff in the morning. Our individual breakfast orders were ignored. Server at breakfast was so rude.

We had a day at the races and decided to stay overnight so we could all relax, The Lodge was just perfect.

The location to where we wanted to be.
