Room was really nice and comfortable. The location was perfect for the hike I had planned nearby. The host was lovely and the breakfast excellent.

Very good

The Lilacs had everything I needed, it was warm and cosy with a lovely big bath in the ensuite. The breakfast was lovely and the host friendly and accomodating. Good location for town centre and nearby attractions

The Lilacs Ashbourne Little Break

Tina was the perfect host, served fabulous breakfasts and even gave us a lift out to a venue nearby as it was cold that evening. Lovely indeed.

My wife and I have a king-size bed at home so we were a little cramped in our room 2 one. Other than that no issues.

The location suited our needs and the owner was very friendly.

The breakfast was excellent. The owner was very friendly and the property was very clean and tidy.

The property is on the side of a busy road and we were in the bedroom on that side of the house? There were one or two minor maintenance issues with cupboard and on-suite doors. The on-suite is a bit tight for two people at the same time.

A comfortable and relaxing stay

The breakfast was excellent. Tina was very welcoming and helpful. Our bathroom was a very good size, with bath and shower.

The bedroom was a little small. Access on to the road was quite difficult because of poor visibility.

One of the worst rooms I have ever stayed in for years, not fit for purpose

Breakfast was good, host pleasant

Room was very dirty, door to ensuite would not close, wardrobe doors looked like a 10 year old had had a go at fitting them, ensuite particularly dirty, tiles, painwork, ceiling was marked and dirty, carpet not vacuumed sufficiently, mattress poor quality, room cold when heating went off. If we had of arrived earlier I would have left and considered doing this even though we had no where else to go.
