Extremely wonderful

The property is very neat, and there is value for money. I enjoyed my stay. From the reception all the way to the bathroom was very neat. The location is also very good, easily access to public transport. The staff there is super friendly.

Beautiful location amazing people working at the hotel.

Absolutely amazing stuff at the reception and the lovely house keeping lady. Very very helpful and friendly. Thank you lots!

Can't really complain as they are going through a bit of refurbishment but nothing what really affected the stay. Just fiu things needs improving but they currently working on it.

Very clean. Very nice staff. Free Wi-Fi. Great views

The stairs to my room was challenging and a little maintenance needed in the room. Light fitting not sure above bed and shower door didn't stay shut. Apart from that a nice hotel offering everything in a fantastic location.

A warm and comfortable place to stay in December.

A better than average seaside hotel. Worth paying the extra for a sea view. Room was warm, clean comfortable bed, good white towels and plenty of hot water. This is the third time we have stayed at the Lansdowne.

Shower door was a little rickety. Cracked tiles in the bathroom. I thought that some bottled water in the room would have been a nice touch but otherwise very satisfied.

Great, Clean and Comfy

Everything! The seaview, I got to watch sunrise from the room. the spacious room (i booked single room, but I think they free upgraded me to double?, i am not sure anyway bigger than advertised, the balcony. Clean bed and bathroom. Everything is decent. The receptionist staff are nice as well. Soft fluffy towel. Kettle and tea and coffee provided. Location 10mins walk to Train station, less to town Centre, 20mins to Old Town, 7mins to the Pier. Lots of pillows. Also, Ilike the body and hair soap in the bathroom, usually in other hotel it make my hair dry but not this one, it feels soft on the skin too!

I like everything but I would suggest on some minor things - to have additional lighting at the mirror/ desk area. The existing light in the room is too dim. And probably scrub the bottom of toiler bowl.

Location

On approach, put off by people taking drugs in the bus shelter. Window in room didnt latch closed, on our second and last night at 10 pm the power cut out so no TV, or lights other than the ceiling light and wall socket under the table was dangerously loose so couldnt pull the plug out to move the kettle. No reception staff or anyone else to advise or help. Checked out at 8.30 am, still no staff. In sum, a terrible experience and we wont be returning or recommending it to anyone else.

Very good

Good random choice,made on the spur of the moment......looking forward to coming to see you again.

Hotel room brilliant,spotless and loved the views.Lee was very helpful and friendly.Just a short walk into the town centre was perfect,we had no plans and just enjoyed a walk on the beach,pier and chilled.Got so much going on here at home,just needed a few days away and was very pleased with my choice.Would love to come again.Thankyou.

Couldnt really fault it,except of course a bar and restaurant would have been a bonus.Maybe in the future they will come,and we will enjoy using them.As we all get a bit older a lift would help,but the exercise up the stairs was good for us to room7!!!!
