Its a perfect spot for 2 in a lovely area with great facilities and very clean! Amazing hosts!

November break.

Lovely little cottage, well designed and quite comfortable. Only one two seater settee, so as long as you like being cozy fine. The bed is a good size double but very firm. I prefer a softer mattress,

The Bed was too hard, the two seater settee in the sitting area was a bit too small and only hard chairs to sit on, you could always go upstairs to the bedroom to watch the t.v. while lying on the bed.

Cosy Home from Home

The little home from home is one of our favourite places to stay. We have been now for the last two winters. It is warm and cosy and has everything you could need. The bed is so comfy and when we arrived we had 6 fresh eggs and tea biscuits waiting for us. Perfect rest

Cosy Cottage

The Hayloft Cottage is a beautiful, idyllic holiday getaway just a short drive away from Whitby. Bird feeders in the small garden at the front of the cottage attract the local sparrows, blue tits and blackbirds, and the cottage is cosy and perfect for a couple. The owners are fantastic and its a nice touch to provide guests with a pack of biscuits from Bothams and fresh, free range eggs from their own chickens. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and there is a hob and oven to make your own food in. The cottage is ideally located for exploring the local area such as the cinder path; a walk from Goathland to Grosmont (along the old incline railway track) and Scarborough is only a 40 minute drive away. We have stayed here twice and look forward to returning in the future when we want to visit Whitby again.

Country cottage in the country

Absolutely everything about this gorgeous little cottage... I've never stayed in something else that's as lovely as this... beautiful setting...this cottage had everything you could possibly require and more...I highly recommend this cottage...we had fresh eggs waiting for us and I scrambled them delicious best eggs I've ever tasted... lovely places to visit...lots of walks around the cottage.... can't wait to return here...
