Amazing - thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend.

Staff were super friendly. Scrambled eggs were the best I've eaten! Aesthetics were great. Nice and relaxing!

Expected the room to be larger for the price paid.

Very cosy, lovely ambiance..

No coffee machine in room something one has come to expect at over 350 per night. Tiny shower head which, probably due to limescale, directed the water into single, solid and heavy jet of water.

Property is well done inside but appears to lack management as the staff let down the experience.

The property is nicely done up, with small cosy areas for people to sit. The property is well maintained and the rooms are comfortable.

Its in quite a dense residential area, which is not the aesthetically charming but you do have the beach 100 meters away. The were hosting a wedding the day we were checking out which meant we had to leave the hotel at 11am and we were only told about this the day before we arrived which made the whole experience feel rushed.

Fab for a one-off treat

The staff were friendly and helpful - and quickly sorted out a minor problem we had. Room was lovely and as expected from the photos and meals were good overall. But, there is a certain expectation as this is an expensive stay.

I feel that the staff had different guests on different packages to contend with. For example, it wasn't explained that 'extras' were included in our breakfast until the second day. The menu could be set out differently to make things clearer.

Perfect except for a few blips...

The best welcome we've ever received, in all our travels - thanks Nakita. Beautiful room, we were given an upgrade to one overlooking the gardens. Great location, the cleanest beach in the UK (in my opinion). You can grab a picnic rug from reception and order cocktails to take with you to the beach at sunset. Cake in the afternoon - heaven. I liked the water bottle system too, brilliant idea. Nice toiletries in the bathroom and big fluffy robes. Loved the decor and design, comfortable but chic.

Breakfast was a disaster. It took an hour to just get a coffee. We were told that we couldn't place our breakfast order because the kitchen had too many orders already. What??? Dinner was a bit hit and miss. No logic to the chef bringing the main course plates, not the main course itself. Wine at five (don't call it wine o'clock or you'll be in trouble!), lovely idea but it'd be nice to have a choice. We were given rose. I hate rose. Not a fan of the two tier system. I understand it but especially at breakfast it'd be nice to be given the choice of ordering (and paying extra) for stuff from the full menu. Or in the evening, it wouldn't break the bank for everyone to get some bed time tea.

Will go again ...soon!

Everything was lovely - the position, the gardens, the staff, the food and the wines. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely go back and take our dog next time!

A wonderful break on the Sussex coast

The quality of the food was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and genuinely attentive to our requirements. The room was very charming , leading out to a garden.

We didn't stay long enough to fully appreciate all that was on offer
