    Unfortunately it was not a pleasant stay, which was such a shame given the lovely location of the property. Our room was absolutely freezing!! When we checked in the room was incredibly cold and felt like there has been no heating on at all for days. We turned the radiator up in hope we would get some heat for when we returned in the evening. However, unfortunately when we returned the room was even colder. It was so cold that the bedding actually felt damp when we got into bed as it was that cold. When I went down to breakfast I did ask about the heating and was told it had just gone off during the night due to the storm but was on before that. However, this doesnt explain why we had no heat prior to this (the room was so cold it felt like it hadn't been heated for days) and there was nothing done to try and make our stay more comfortable. I didnt want to leave a negative review so contacted the hotel directly instead. However, they have not replied to my message.

    A warm welcome and great hospitality
    The Customer Service from check in to check out was first rate. The breakfast choices were much better than expected and the quality of the food was exceptional. The restaurant was well decorated and very pleasant.
    The beds were a little uncomfortable and finding the location in the dark was not easy. The road leading to the Coach House is not well lit.

    It was quiet, the bar and restaurant area were very nice. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. Easy parking
    Room was sparse in annex. No chair, no drinking glasses, no hairdryer, mirror at the end of the bed making it awkward to use, shower was tiny.
