Convenient location and pleasant room with nice bathroom

The breakfast was delicious (pancakes) and lovely fire in the dining room. Breakfast was served by a very pleasant young man. We were at a wedding so didn't eat other than breakfast - a couple from the wedding who had stayed the night before said dinner was very good. Same couple had booked a taxi for transport between Beresford Arms and the venue which didn't turn up - manager very helpful trying to find alternative.

My room was very cold when I arrived. The temperature dropped during the evening and it was frosty.

Located in the middle of Northumberland but great base to visit other parts of the county.

Amazing breakfast, cooked perfectly. Served at the time I requested. Lots of options so everyone should be happy.

Water pressure in bathroom was rubbish but hotel were aware. They are replacing the plumbing system.

Great location, fabulous food & friendly helpful staff.

A lot of thought had gone into the decoration and presentation of the Beresford bar, dining area and restaurant. The breakfast was better than ALL the four star hotels we've stayed at this year. The Sunday lunch and evening meal we had on the second night were absolutely delicious - fabulous! The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The village location was lovely and a great base for visiting local attractions.
