Disappointing

Cheap in a great location but disappointing overall.

It would want to be cheap because the furniture was sometimes decrepit and the whole hotel was quite old and not well maintained. The air con was loud and slow to respond. On the first morning, there was no hot water to my room. Then the sole elevator to the 5-floor property stopped functioning over most of the weekend, a problem given my mobility issues. Over my 6-day stay, the room was never serviced. The main problem is that there are no concierge staff on site, so requests for help (which had to be made to a call centre) were responded to very slowly if at all. I could not recommend this property to others.

Superb

Great self-service hotel in Philadelphia city center

Nice hotel, convenient location. Lots of restaurants and theatres in the area. Using the number code for the building entrance door and the room door was very convenient. Interesting architecture.

The street gets very loud on the weekends. But the hotel even provides earplugs and a white noise machine. Bathroom was cold. Ceilings have different heights in the rooms, some people may not like that

It was ok.

The room was spacious. It was easy to check in.

The entrance to the property was unlocked and not clean. The common areas were not very clean. The ventilation in the room was loud and the door to the room could use an upgrade.

Very good

Rooms are really spacious and tidy. Air conditioning doesn't work so well. Not senior-friendly. Need to self check in and requires some smart phone using experience.
