Nice Hotel In A Rural Setting

Very clean, great staff, nice bar area.

The room might be a bit chilly for some with the in-room heaters not producing much heat. We arrived before the scheduled cycle of heat being turned on and were offered a space heater if we wanted one. We declined as we don't mind a cooler room to sleep in. Water pressure in the shower was low and if you tried to use the on-demand hot water at the highest heat setting, you would get super hot water alternating between all cold water. The Ecco setting gave a constant flow of hot water but not really hot if you like a hotter shower.

Second time staying and would definitely stay again

Located in a nice peaceful area with no heavy traffic The room was clean and comfortable with good Wi-Fi no noise from outside Nice bar to sit in and the staff were friendly. Food was excellent with big portions

Handy for working in Nairn

My room was booked for me by the local company I was working for. I found the room clean and comfortable. I had been advised that the kitchen was closed the night of my arrival which wasn't a problem, Breakfast wasn't booked but I hadn't realized I needed to fend for myself, fortunately there is a supermarket close by.

I was unable to get breakfast as the kitchen was closed.

Was close to where we were needing to go.

We didnt have breakfast. Location was good for going to inverness for the 5k run.

Greatly enjoyed

Dinner was superb, best fish (haddock) I have ever tasted and cooked to perfection. Owner Chris very welcoming, great host. Zoe was very likeable. The ambience was great. The room was tastefully decorated and spotless.

In my room the shower cubicle is too small, for me anyway. Bedroom and bathroom compact. Room adequate for overnight stay.

The room was acceptable with a good shower.

There was no food available on the night of my stay, where given the location meant that I had to drive for my evening meal. Not knowing the area meant that finding my evening meal was a challenge until I did find the Havelock.
