Overpriced, definitely not worth 200 for 1 night.

The breakfast was lovely. The staff were friendly. The room was adequate but not luxurious.

It was a last minute booking due to adverse weather conditions. The staff were rushed off their feet, understandably, but there were no toiletries inthe bathroom which I expected at the price we payed so I couldn't shower. The TV didn't work. There was a smell in the bathroom that meant we had to open the window at first. I had to go and ask what time breakfast was served when I should have been told.

Perfect location, beautiful room and food. Staff are amazing.

Friendly staff, it was a busy festive time for the hotel but we were treated so well and nothing was a bother. We were not there as part of a Christmas party group but we were offered to go to the party night anyway! Food was great and service was too. Would love to return.

Clean place, position, but could have been so much better.

position was fantastic. Room was clean. Santa visited as we were leaving.

We were put in a accessible room on the ground floor. woke up all night with people running up and down the stairs above our heads, then 2 x again with the emptying of bottles in a bin near our room late at night. No phone in room and felt totally detached from actually staying at the hotel, so we didnt bother with breakfast and left.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff and delicious food!

The room (family room) was beautiful. Very spacious and clean. The food was incredible and the whole feel of the place was just lovely. We would definitely come back again!

Everything was superb! There was nothing we didn't enjoy. I have recommended this hotel to our family and friends because we enjoyed it so much.

I felt like it was luxurious however toilets beside gin bar didn't have much toilet roll in toilets think there was 4 toilets 2 off them actually had toilets roll, we had issues checking in , we booked through booking.com however when we went to check in the lady who was on reception couldn't find our booking had to go find the manager to see if he had our booking. What fellt like 10/15 mins later and my anxiety being through the roof the receptionist comes back with the key to our room is amazing huge bed so comfy bath has rust stains on it they complimentary soap shampoo ect has been used hairs on the bed toilet roll in the toilet bin. Felt like they just chucked us in the worst room because they couldn't find our booking. Breakfast which was included was OK I had the fruit salad was mushy apples a half a grape a hit off orange and 1 bit off water melon the pastries my mum had was amazing the full Scottish was meh put it this way my mum and myself both left that morning still hungry all in all was average

Peaceful stay in a stunning venue!

Beautiful venue within gorgeous grounds - decor was stunning. Stayed in the Turret Room which was massive, had large shower plus stand alone bath and secret staircase to the turret which had fabulous sea views. The staff were amazing from check in/out! Sandy took care of our needs and both barmen were very attentive as were the dining staff. The food was delicious and well presented. I would probably advise booking direct with the venue as better deals available. This hidden gem would be perfect for private parties, weddings or special occasions. It will definitely be on our list to return to in the future.
