A lovely apartment with fantastic views.

Lovely property, very welcoming and clean. The apartment had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Bed was very comfortable. A fantastic view with outdoor space. A good place to stay if you are visiting Taupo. I would recommend staying at Studio 28.

Great value for money

The property was a great location. Parking on the side of the driveway. The room was big enough and had a little kitchenette with everything needed to make a cute little breakfast or even an easy dinner. The room was nicely decorated and the bathroom was clean and shower gel and shampoo was provided.

The bed wasnt not as comfortable and the bathroom was a bit outdated but super clean.

Great spot for 2-3 people

The big projector screen was great and the main bed was very comfortable.

It would have been great for 2-3 people, but we found it too cramped for 5 (teen kids). Unfortunately towels werent replaced, and the used ones couldnt dry out as there wasnt anywhere outside undercover to hang them and there was very limited ventilation inside.

The most horrible hotel experience ever! Cockroaches and super uncomfortable bed !

We didnt like anything. Had to kill 2 cockroaches and 1 spider. Bed head was loose and super uncomfortable bed. Did text Owner right after the arrival about the bed and didnt receive any response. Which makes me think owner was well aware of the problem. Didnt had good sleep for two nights. Not up to the standard.

Room could have been clean and with out Cockroaches and spider. Loose bed head which makes bed super uncomfortable.

Good value for money in great location

Comfortable and clean with modern touches.

It is a ground floor unit sharing doors with the main house on the first floor. We could hear them moving around upstairs. Also everytime they open a door in the main house it causes the shared doors to vibrate, sounding like someone is trying to enter our unit.

Could be nicer if...

Perfect location, quiet, peaceful, safe and nice view, accessible! Nice neighborhood too. Comfortable bed, clean and warm room. Essentials are complete. Size of room acceptable for short stays. Over-all we liked our stay at Studio 28.

Some food prep and dish washing inevitably done in the toilet. Would be nice if a clothes hanger is available to hang clothes. Microwave location was too high for small people :) to use also a probable H&S risk A higher table to eat when weather is bad unable to use the nice set outside. Taupo travel info/brochures not updated.
