Relaxing Retreat

Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, everything you needed was there. Bonus of a games room and spa. Lovely decor and layout.

Water pressure in showers was really low.

Absolutely amazing, will definately book this property again

The property was amazing and loved everything about it, all guests had a wonderful stay

The second fold out couch wasn't made up so had to find sheets, blankets and pillows to make it up ourself so that we had enough beds. We had requested this be done and they had only made up one. Also the ladder to the bunkbed was unsure how to secure it so for safety reasons didn't end up using the bunk above the queen bed and one person had to share with a friend

Great family stay with lots of toys for toddler and babies

The amenities and the hot tub was great. The room upstairs was nice with a new bathroom and the toys for the kids was so nice. It definitely kept my boy entertained

The bathroom downstairs was a bit dated and there was a lot of rules such as cleaning and taking the rubbish out for collection days which was a bit confusing.

Family 30th away!

The house felt warm and cosy with heaps of awesome stuff todo at the house and not too far away from Debretts spa! Heaps of character in the house with everything you need and more. Had a lot of fun with the table tennis table and pool table and had a few relaxing spas. Lovely house

Beautiful, spacious, family friendly home in a great central location which is close to amenities. The home is full of fun things to keep the family entertained and ensure you will never be bored. The spa, games in the garage, board games upstairs, and the large lounge were our highlights.

Excellent stay.

Affordable and reasonably priced for a family group. Had something for everyone - games room, trampoline and swing set, toys for the tamariki (both indoor and outdoor), and of course the spa was a highlight. Quiet and private. Close to the entrance to the Botanical Gardens which should be a must see destination in Taup. Various heating options ie heat pump, pellet fire and panel heating for the lower 3 rooms. Loved the Kiwiana detail throughout the whare. Comfortable rooms and beds. Our adult son slept on the sofa bed in the lounge on the second floor and found it comfortable.

Just take care when coming down the stairs from the second floor - especially in socks! Stay to the right where the span of the steps are wider. Hubby and son soon realised this after sliding down a couple of steps where they turn a corner - bigger feet, shorter width span. No injuries incurred, just pays to be mindful.

Oustanding holiday home with all your creature comforts.

The property was outstanding for young and old and was the perfect holiday spot for my family. Having the botanical gardens at your back door was a bonus and served as a bit of privacy when you're having a spa. Kitchen was a pleasure to cook in and we mostly hung out in the kitchen playing board games. Well equipped in that area with games etc for the younger ones. Super comfy beds, you could hideaway in those for sure on a rainy day. This house had everything we needed. Can't wait to stay again. Thank you.
